What kind of future do we want to create?
Future We Want connected environmental responsibility, social justice and active citizenship. The exchange created a safe international learning space where young people could question, imagine and act.

Why the project mattered
The exchange connected three distinct realities. Slovenia brought questions of low-carbon transition, biodiversity, drought and flooding; Poland added the experience of coal dependence, air quality and a socially just transition; Tunisia brought urgent perspectives on drought, desertification, water security and unequal access to sustainable solutions. Working across these contexts made the future scenarios more grounded, critical and internationally relevant.

How the scenarios were built
Youth work in practice
The process moved from connection and group agreements to evidence, imagination and public presentation. Participants used a time-machine exercise, Open Space, role play, research into good and bad practices, diplomatic negotiations, news from 2055, a circular-economy field visit and analysis through social, environmental, economic and technological lenses. The result was five coherent scenarios rather than one simplified answer.
